Artist Stefan Kater

Exhibition is opening Friday 14th June 5pm til 9pm.

At Abercrombie Window Gallery 314 Abercrombie Street Darlington

Stefan is a proud gay deaf artist. In the celebration of Prides 5oth Anniversery Stefan’s exhibition of paintings communicate through art, rather than words. ‘Senses’ give us the awareness, recognition, stimulus, its subjective mental or intellectual, conciousness of feelings.

Since completing a Degree in Fine Arts, Stefan has had his illustrations featured in a book, “Sound Warp”, (1991) and achieved finalist status in the Archibald Prize both in 1976 and 2015. Stefan teaches children art through workshops and leads tours of the Museum of Contemporary Art (MCA), using the Deaf Community’s preferred language, Ausland.

Come along 14th June meet Stefan and see his work.

The Gallery is open on the weekends until 30th June and by appointment if you text me.
